Samsung is apparently preparing to reveal its next flagship phone, the Galaxy S9, in February, inning accordance with a report from Bloomberg, with the phones releasing as early as March.
If real, it 'd be among the earliest announcements for a brand-new model of Samsung's main Galaxy line, which have usually been revealed in March and launched in April in years past. As was reported previously, the S9 and the accompanying S9 Plus will be more of an iterative upgrade than the extreme redesign of the S8, with VentureBeat's Evan Blass claiming that the devices will see faster processors in the form of the just recently revealed Snapdragon 845, together with upgraded video cameras.
The S9 was reported to make an early appearance at CES in January, however later reports call into question that happening. Nevertheless, a full February reveal would splits the difference between the early CES showing and the typical March unveiling.
